The A1c Champion programs I present are one-hour educational, motivational diabetes programs from the perspective of someone who is living successfully with diabetes. To date, 25,000 people have attended the Taking Control and Understanding Insulin programs learning how to better control their diabetes. The beauty of these programs is that patients see, and are inspired by, fellow patients who have found a way to live successfully with diabetes.
