O.K., I snuck a third word in
I think this new site from OneTouch is a pretty cool site. But then anyone who tells me I am to be "applauded, congratulated, praised, cheered, commended, extolled and admired" would have me eating out of their hand, and any site that shares people's stories has rights to my heart.
This is a OneTouch site, but it also supports a project Manny Hernandez, founder of TuDiabetes.com truly a diabetes community, launched to raise diabetes awareness. While I find I don't nearly have the time I'd like to these days to troll through the many and growing sites out there about diabetes, I hear nothing but good things about TuDiabetes. Manny asked people with diabetes to write one word on their hand that expressed how their life has been touched by diabetes, take a picture of it and share it. You can find it on his site and on OneTouch.
So if someone asked you to write one word that expressed how your life has been touched by diabetes, what word would you choose? I would write challenging and compassion, oops that two words, but then I hate playing by the rules.
